About

Notes, systems, and practical observations.

I’m Steve Taylor, a cloud engineer from Yorkshire.

This site is a minimalist, no-fluff log of things I build, test, and find useful. Most posts circle around a few core themes:

1. Cloud Architecture & Automation: What works in production, what breaks, and how to keep systems simple.

2. Tools & Workflows: Streamlining setups, terminal configs, and practical productivity without the bloat.

3. Training & Recreation: Club cricket, strength training, and life outside of tech.

No tracking pixels, no pop-ups, and no algorithmic feeds—just plain writing and straightforward engineering notes.
